Dining room sketch for VR Dracula’s Castle Environment.

Hallway sketch for VR Dracula’s Castle Environment.

The Crypt sketch for VR Dracula’s Castle Environment.
The MASH Sphere render was created in Maya 2021 showcasing
camera movement and animation of the sphere.
The animation was created using 3 keyframes in 90 frames: one at frame 1,
one at frame 45, and one at frame 90 in the timeline.

Time Travel Animation Scene: created in Adobe Animate by importing my storyboard drafts to the library, drawing over the storyboard and filling the spaces using the paint bucket tool. I made the roof and floor lighter than the walls as there are light sources in the scene. Unfortunately, the animation and the scenes could not be completed because production time had to be cut short.

Time Machine Concept Art.

Time Machine Model: created in 3ds Max which was inspired by the 2002 film “The Time Machine” because of clock at the back. Instead of a clock being at the back of the time machine model, it is a projector that displays the time when the tesla coils, at the front and back of the model, is active.

Social Media Animation Scene (Creative Project): created in Adobe Animate and was done the same way as the time travel animation by importing storyboards into the library, drawing over the storyboards using the classic brush tool and painting over it. This time, the project was animated and finished.
This animation was done using a camera to take pictures for each frame and clay to transform from an apple to Pac Man, which would then transform into a clock and then a pizza. Lastly, one slice is taken off the clay pizza so its shape becomes a diamond.

Goblet Model: created in 3ds Max using wireframes in front view rather than in perspective view. This is one of the few models that was made to help learn the basics of 3d modelling.

Monitor Model: created in 3ds Max using an editable polygon that could be used by its vertex, edge, border, polygon, or element.

Negative Photographs: photographs are taken inside and outside using a SLR Camera with film which is then taken into the dark room with no exposure to light before applying developing solution, stop bath solution and fixing solution, and lastly drying it off which takes 2-5 hours.

Bin Bag Render: the bin bag assets in 3ds Max was imported from Quixel Bridge and rendered in a sun environment that can be controlled by its time of day which creates shadows behind the bin bags. I experimented with the colour of the bin bags inside the slate material editor in 3ds Max by changing the base colour of the bin bags from its original colour (orange) to black. I also moved the camera around the bin bag to create a point of view towards the bin bags. After experimenting, I rendered the bin bags by pressing the ‘fn’ key and F9.

Wooden Sculpture: I borrowed a sculpture for recording 360 degrees and creating a model using the video footage in Reality Capture which can be imported into 3ds Max. After completion, I duplicated the model 3 times and mirrored the duplicated models so it would result in a model such as the one in the second image.

Physical Collage: created using body parts and objects cut out from a magazine, inspired by Alma Haser. A body part is cut out from the original image, placed somewhere else, and gets replaced with an object to cover what’s missing.

Physical Collage: created the same way as the one inspired by Alma Haser but multiple body parts are cut out from the original image and are moved away from its origin point rather than being overlapped with an object. This collage is inspired by Kensuke Koike.
