On Tuesday 12th March, I had a meeting with my tutor, discussing what it is I need to do to make sure I am ready for a job if I decide to leave after my final year of college instead of topping up to a level 6 course for one more year. I have discussed potential job opportunities (on the Indeed website) as to what kind of jobs could suit me if I wanted to decide between a content creator or animator for certain companies in areas near where I live, and the requirements that I need to apply for the job which will include a professional portfolio. I have also discussed what it is I want to create for my final major project and what work would inspire me to create it (I looked at examples on Behance for inspiration).
I have also be thinking about whether I want to apply on to the level 6 course and I have been given a small preview of what students will be doing if they apply such as an essay that will be turned into a book. There will be a meeting the following week that will give more details about it.
