When it comes to researching things, I have learnt to use Neil’s Tool Box as an efficient way of referencing sources that I borrow information from whether it is a quote or lines that explains a subject before paraphrasing. In this case, I am referencing a website so I clicked “Referencing a website” first.

Next, I filled in each section for the website that I have used information from by writing down the author of the website, name of the article, website name, date and year that it was published, website address, and date that I recently visited the website before generating the reference. For example, I visited the IMDb website to research about Christopher Miller and included what films he has worked on for the project proposal however I couldn’t find the date that the website was published and the year it was published so I wrote down Unknown for the year published and left the date of the published website as blank.

After, my reference was created which can then be used to replace the website links for my bibliography. Here is what it looks like for my reference:

From now on, I should be able to reference sources every time I learn something from the websites I visit and also update previous blog posts and create more blog posts with this type of referencing using Neil’s Tool Box.

Logo Concepts

For the first logo concept, I thought about changing it to a mini planet in the middle of the logo with the double triangles in yellow/orange to represent the core and four different coloured trees that represents each season (spring, summer, autumn and winter) around the logo. As for the second concept, I wanted to still keep it simple but add more to it by adding visuals that represent the sports, education and community related activities that Stride offers.
