Beales is a well-known British photographer and director who excels at utilising a camera to communicate stories. He has collaborated with numerous companies, including Apple, BBC, Land Rover, and others. In order to capture the globe and share these moments, he enjoys telling stories about the individuals he meets as part of his personal job.
Without a doubt, Finn Beales is a personal photographer because of the distinctiveness of his work. Finn stands out for having a remarkable ability to infuse each picture he takes with his own viewpoint and vision. His images capture more than just a picturesque scene or object.
A quote that is referenced by Finn Beales is by Benjamin Franklin who says “By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail”. For myself, this could mean if I do not prepare for submitting my work and planning my projects out, then I won’t do well.
Photographs
The work for today was inspired by Finn Beales and involves capturing pictures of a structure, an object, or the surrounding area from various perspectives, such as a close-up view. Because of the damage these kinds of buildings have accumulated over time, which indicates that nothing has been done recently to repair the damages to windows that have been broken or boarded up using wooden frames, I specifically chose to capture images of these types of structures. Due to the abandoned and untouched nature of these buildings, it has a dystopian vibe:

To summarise what I have done in lesson, I have learnt to set up a camera which the class had used to take photographs, capturing structures and objects that are old or a close up shot of the area to inspire us to make our own environmental sequences and learnt about the functions of shutter speed, ISO, and aperture.
